FIRSTLIFE: The workshop with the project researchers brought many inspiring stimuli

As part of the TTC Group’s partnership with FIRSTLIFE, we organized a joint workshop at the CTU at the beginning of April with the researchers of this student project. The aim of the meeting was to introduce students the selected projects of our companies that resonate with what the students themselves are interested in, and also to offer them the opportunity to cooperate. We discussed in particular:

  • Smart buildings – why they should be smart and how much; what specific benefits intelligent solutions bring to their users, owners, neighbors and society as a whole
  • Technology Park in Malešice – a vision of how to make the Prague industrial area a modern and attractive technology district, where manufacturing companies, startups and leading developers will operate side by side
  • The planned Oxyma technology center – why we want to use “smart” technologies here and how young talented enthusiasts can be involved in the project
  • Dormitories and canteens 2.0 – what are the ideas of today’s students about their accommodation and meals and how technology, SW and applications can help

The FIRSTLIFE team consists of a very interesting and diverse group of young people interested in urban planning, architecture, technical equipment of buildings, sustainability or sociology. The meeting was very lively, the students were very interested in the discussed topic, they brought a number of new perspectives and suggestions. They were also interested in the idea of our 4eggs technology incubator, which offers emerging business plans, especially broad technological and know-how support.

The workshop brought a positive response from both sides and the students showed interest in meeting. So we are now preparing further steps to bring them more into the issues they are interested in. We believe that their creativity and enthusiasm will complement our projects well.
