The corporate canteen of PKS, a customer of ApS Brno, won 1st place in the Canteen of the Year 2022 Vysočina Region competition. As part of the evaluation, the jury also appreciated our ISKAM system

The kitchen of the PKS company has been providing company catering for more than 40 years, not only to its employees, but also to other companies in Žďár nad Sázavou and its surroundings in the form of a pick-up service. It prepares around 500 meals a day. Two years ago, the kitchen and dining room underwent a reconstruction, and as one of the inspiring projects in the field of staff catering, it has now won first place in the Canteen of the Year 2022 of the Vysočina Region.

As part of the evaluation, the jury also praised the ISKAM catering system from our subsidiary ApS Brno, which has been using the canteen since 2018. “Thanks to ISKAM, we were able to replace paper meal vouchers with chip cards. At the same time, ApS adjusted the system according to our specific requirements. One of them was to improve the presentation of the offered meals and then also to enable the diners to evaluate the food and give feedback, “says Eva Zichová, head of catering at PKS holding.

Radomír Kurečka, CEO of ApS Brno, adds: “We are constantly striving to develop the ISKAM information system so that it is as user-friendly as possible for our customers and their end clients. We added both functions – photos of meals and evaluation of diners, which were awarded by the jury in the Canteen of the Year competition, at the request of the PKS. In the case of photographs, we were first concerned about whether amateurish shots of prepared meals would be attractive enough. However, it turned out that the food looks very tasty both on the order kiosk screen and on the website.”

Thanks to ISKAM, PKS canteen diners have the opportunity to evaluate individual meals, either on a computer or mobile phone, or directly in the canteen at the order kiosk. From the evaluation, the system generates statistical reports of food popularity and also allows the kitchen manager to send a direct response to the diner.
