In the energy sector, reliable communication is one of the key assumptions of secure and efficient operations. TTC MARCONI, a member of the TTC Group, has therefore taken part in the modernization of communication infrastructure for EG.D, one of the major energy distributors in the Czech Republic.<\/p>\n
The aim of the project was to replace the original analogue solution with a modern digital radio network, enabling fast, safe and well-structured communication between the dispatch centre and workers in the field. This new solution also serves as an independent communication channel in situations, when common mobile networks are not available or are overloaded.<\/p>\n
From the perspective of the users, the modernization has brought a sense of significant simplification to everyday work. Dispatchers are now able to communicate with individual teams based on the actual needs and are not required to be anchored in a specific workplace. Workers in the filed benefit from reliable connectivity even in demanding conditions, and thanks to safety features, they can quickly call for assistance in the event of an emergency.<\/p>\n
TTC MARCONI acts as a system integrator within this project, and it ensures proposed solutions and the implementation and coordination of the entire project. An important part of this cooperation was also the handover of the know-how, through which the customer is able to operate and further develop the system.<\/p>\n
The project is a confirmation of the strong position of the TTC Group in the field of critical communication, as well as its ability to deliver complex solutions for such demanding environments as the energy sector as well as other segments of critical infrastructure.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
