Transformation of Energy Increases Importance of IT

“From the technical point of view, modern energy is transforming into a very complex system that cannot exist without the support of digital technologies,” says Michal Hátle, CEO of TTC NOVIQ, in an interview for the Industry and Energy supplement of Reflex magazine.

As in many other industries, companies operating in the energy sector will largely become IT organizations specialized in energy.

In the interview, Michal Hátle also talked about the current trend of energy systems moving towards distributed and decentralized structures, ancillary services, and the reason for founding for TTC NOVIQ and its future plans.
