UniControls Focuses on the Indian Market
TTC CONTROLS, owner of the UniControls brand, has entered into an exclusive distribution contract with the Indian company A-Paul Software Systems. Therefore, the company has now become the exclusive distributor on the Indian market of UniControl’s products focused on technology transfers, particularly in the field of overhead control and the information systems of rail vehicles.
Indian railways is one of the most extensive in the world and is constantly undergoing modernisation and development. It offers a great amount of opportunities, also for Czech manufacturers of railway equipment and components, among which UniControls has long been a part of. “The partnership with A-Paul Software Systems will allow us to participate in local tenders for Indian railways and also to share technology and manufacturing know-how to support local projects. Through this partnership, we would like to build on UniControls current success on the Asian market and enter perhaps the largest and most interesting railway market in the world today,” says Roman Ulrych, Sales Director of UniControls.
Since its foundation in 1991, UniControls has specialized in the development, manufacture and installation of control systems and electronic equipment for railway vehicles and industry. It specializes primarily on those applications that require high level of reliability in the demanding work environments. In addition to the Czech Republic, UniControls is represented in many European and Asian markets, such as Italy, France, Poland, Spain, as well as Japan and China. Thanks to the announced co-operation with A-Paul Software Systems, the company plans to extend its presence to customers in India.
A-Paul Software Systems, the leading Indian corporation, is active in the fields of software, e-governance, automatization and railway engineering projects. Its major customers include Indian Railways, Integral Coach Factory and Bharat Heavy Electrical limited. From the product portfolio, UniControls will primarily offer overhead control solutions and information systems components for metro and other rail vehicles on the Indian market.
